The Tyrolean ski instructors are the creators of the ski instructor character and for decades have defined the image of winter holidays in the Tyrolean Alps. The Lizum 1600 is the training centre of the Tyrolean Ski Instructors Association. We train the best instructors in the world and also give you the option to be a part of this community.

Tyrolean ski instructors association - Snowsport Tirol

The Tyrolean Ski Instructors Association is a public corporation representing the professional interests of more than 300 Tyrolean ski schools and 7,000 teachers (ski and snow sports instructors) and child carers. A main task of the Tyrolean Ski Instructors Association is training and further education. Per season approximately 2,800 people take part in the training of the Tyrolean Ski Instructors Association. The Competence and Training Centre Snowsport Tirol - Lizum 1600 offers the best possible infrastructure for this purpose and an optimal environment. For the guests of the Tyrolean winter tourism, the 7,000 ski and snow sports instructors from more than 300 Tyrolean ski schools are the first point of contact when it comes to snow sports and new trends. The quality of training of the Tyrolean snow sports instructors as well as the achievements of the Tyrolean ski schools enjoys the highest recognition both nationally and internationally.
